The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Fatmir Xhafaj,
declared after a group meeting that the SP will give maximal support to
the justice reform and that its six draft-laws will be voted this
Thursday in a plenary session.
One of the six justice reform laws will be voted with consensus. This is the law for the Special Prosecution Against Corruption (SPAC), which regulates the functionality of the Special Prosecution, the National Bureau of Investigation and special courts that are responsible for the fight against organized crime and corruption.
The agreement was understood during a debate between Edi Rama and Oerd Bylykbashi.
“O guarantee Edi Rama that now he should be more concerned than anyone for this law, because it is not ending as he wanted it. The law will come here very soon, completed, because OPDAT took the ‘vetting’ part away from his hands”, Bylykbashi said.
Top Channel confirmed the consensus between the opposition and the US experts, who are co-authors of the SPAC law.
