Four tons of WWII were removed from 3000 hectares in the Otllak commune, Berat.
The experts dug 2.5 meters underground to remove the heavy ammunition. The concern for their presence was announced by the residents, who often found them while working the agricultural lands.
The experts worked for two months to clean the entire area and removed 4 tons of missiles from the land. The military appealed the residents to notify the authorities as soon as they encounter any remaining missile. The time has made these bombs even more dangerous for the residents’ lives.
