Journalist Rudina Xhunga was guest of honor in the Excellency Network of
the Tirana University, where she spoke with Albanian students about her
new book, “Writers of the Century, 31 Interviews in the Library of
World”.
This was the first time that she was as a writer at the “Liria” room of the Albanian Tirana University, after being several times in that same room as host with her show “Shqip”.
Students shared curiosities about the book, her meetings with inspiring minds, about the “Shqip” show and Rudina’s plans in the future of publishing and television. Xhunga answered to one question, if she is independent or politicized as journalist.
“I am a politicized journalist, dedicated to the people who believe that this country can change. That is why I am not independent. I depend from the desire to change my country. There are journalists who have dignity in Albania, and journalists who go after profits. I go after dignity”, Xhunga declared.
The “Writers of the Century” tour will continue in Prishtina and Mitrovic to share with the Kosovo students the experience of literature, and the modern opinions.
