Women leave jewelry at home

The terrible events that have taken place in the recent days in Tirana, especially the attacks by teen robbers, have made women leave their jewelry behind when they leave home.

The murder of a woman a few days ago has spread quite a panic. Some of the women say that they have heard of other robberies, but this one affected them greatly.

“I don’t put my jewelry one because I was robbed once and I don’t carry them anymore”, says a young girl.

“The murder has frightened us a lot. When the state itself is incriminated, they don’t care about us. That’s why I don’t take my jewelry with me”, says an elder woman.
