The OSCE Ambassador in Tirana, Eugen Wollfarth, declared that the
Albanian political class must cooperate in fulfilling the integration
reforms by turning the process into a national agenda.

From Fier, where he met the Mayor of this city, Baftjar Zeqo, the Ambassador underlined that the fulfillment of the reforms enables Albania’s integration.

Wollfarth noted that if the reforms that the country needs will not progress, the responsibility falls on the political class.

The Commissioner Stefan Fule declared one day ago that ““A constructive political dialogue will guarantee that Albania is giving concrete results in implementing the political agreement reached in November, especially regarding the electoral reform and the reform for the Parliamentary Regulation. Albania must continue the progress for fulfilling the 12 criteria, especially in creating evidence for the rule of law and war against corruption”, underlined the Commissioner in a press release.

After repeating that the country enjoys the commitment and the full support of the European Commission, Fule invited Albania to focus on the all-including reforms that are needed for the integration.

“I want to emphasize once again that for the country to reach success in the European agenda, it is important to turn it into a national agenda, for the government, the opposition and the civil society. A real all-inclusive process is key for Albania’s success in the efforts for reforms”, the Commissioner concluded.
