Who will take Cana’s role as captain?

After Lorik Cana left Albania’s national football team, his role as
captain may be covered by Mergim Mavraj or Ledjan Memushaj, but for each
of them, the team is the most important thing.
“Every player has his place, is significant for the national team and contributes for it. Not only the captain, but all players need to be active for having success”, Mavraj adds.
“I am captain at Pescara but I feel equal to all others, because everyone is important. This national team has more than one captain”, Memushaj said.
After Euro 2016, players must now focus on the World Cup 2018 qualification matches.
“We must forget what we had before. There is a new competition now and we should prepare for the friendly match with Macedonia”, Memushaj said.
“Now we are returning to reality. We had a very big and beautiful adventure. Now we will face a friendly match that will return us back to reality”, Mavraj said.
Mavraj is not surprised by Rashica, Shala and Rrahmani,who left Albania to be part of the team of Kosovo. He denies having any contacts with Kosovo federation leaders.
