What will the disabled people lose with the new law amends? For
answering this question, Top Channel invited the head of the Blind
People Association, Sinan Tafaj.
Mr. Tafaj considered Thursday as a dark day for all disabled people.
“Today was a dark day for all disabled people. Today we lost the rights that we have been enjoying for more than 15 years, such as the compensation of electricity, free transport, phone calls, etc”, Mr. Tafaj declared.
The head of the Blind People Association spoke about the abuses made with the lists of disabled people, which this association has reported in Prosecution.
Tafaj declared that the Association is not responsible for the abuses, because the lists are planned by the state institutions, in cooperation with private ones.
“There have been abuses and there will still be, but the responsibility doesn’t fall on us, because we do not manage the process. The responsibility falls on the CEZ Company and the public institutions that have not respected the laws and the legal acts. It is not us who make the lists”, Tafaj declared.
As regards the report of the Blind People Association at the Prosecution, Tafaj declared that according to the laws, those are penal acts, but no one has summoned them for testifying.
