It was initially declared that his visit would be postponed with two hours, but later it was made clear that the visit would not take place.
The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dusko Markovic, cancelled his visit to Kosovo due to a very dense fog that didn’t allow the aeroplane to land.
Markovic was to be received by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli; with the Montenegrin ambassador in Kosovo, Ferhat Dinosha; and the Kosovo Ambassador in Montenegro, Skender Durmishi.
His agenda included meetings with high-level leaders of the country, such as Prime Minister Haradinaj and Speaker Veseli.
The visit of Markovic came in a time when Kosovo politicians were reviewing the possibility of finding a solution to the border demarcation, but failing to get consensus. Montenegro, on the other hand, considers the agreement of 2015 as valid and the demarcation matter concluded.
