Weather expected to improve

During the past 24 hours Albania has marked the heaviest rains in the
past year. Meteorologists say that the cities with the highest level of
rain are Shkoder, Lezhe and Tirana.
“The highest level of rains was noted in northwest of Albania, with 70 mm, while the lower parts have less than 60 mm. The highest intensity was marked in Shkoder, Lezhe, Vlore and Tirana”, says specialist Elsona Gjoni.
The precipitations will continue through Friday, but not with the same level of one day ago. The temperature in the early hours was 3-4 degrees Celsius, followed by snow in mountainous areas.
Meteorologists say that this weekend will have clearer skies, although temperatures will be lower.
“There will be precipitations and even snow in places 400 meters above the sea level. The weather will be cloudy with few moments of sunny hours, with temperatures varying from 3-4 degrees C”, Gjoni declared.
The next week will be partially unstable.
