The wave of domestic crimes doesn’t stop. Four cases have been verified
since the beginning of the month, most of which in the Albanian capital.
This Monday a man killed his wife with an AK-47, killing her on the spot. Police sources say that the victim is Alketa Cani, while her husband is Ilirjan Cani, who then failed killing himself.
He was sent to the Tirana Military Hospital in serious conditions, while the police is working for the circumstances of the case at the Jordan Misja road.
Same as many other domestic crimes, the social-economic difficulties and jealousy were also the main lead for the investigators on the motive of the crime.
The police found that the couple was having marital problems and the husband suspected that his wife betrayed her.
Earlier during this Monday another woman was killed by her husband in Fushe-Mamurras, according to local police.
Marjan Lleshi, 44, killed his 27-year-old wife in their residence. Police declared that the motive was jealousy.
The murder of Alketa Cani is the third of a woman in three days after what happened in Tirana, and the fourt for the month, after the tragedy at Kombinat.
