The Alliance Against the Import of Waste Materials appealed the citizens
to protest this Thursday at 11:00 in front of the Parliament against
its approval by the MPs.
Well known analysts of the media and representatives of the civil society declared that they will pressure the Albanian Parliament through civil reaction to not vote the law that authorize the import of foreign waste materials in Albania.
“We invite the citizens to protest in front of the Albanian Parliament. The Majority aims to pass this law tomorrow and we must not allow them”, declared Blendi Kajsiu.
“The Albanians must understand that this belongs to each of us, to the children of the democratic, socialist and even monarchist supporters”, Fatos Lubonja declared.
The young activists of the Active Youth Movement signed a petition that holds the signatures of 3000 citizens throughout the country and handed it over to the Parliament.
The petition asks the return of the law in Parliament. A few days ago, the Majority rejected the decree of the President Bamir Topi, who returned this law to the Parliament.
