The Interior, Foreign and Labor Ministries have signed an agreement with
the General prosecutor for the national mechanism regarding human
traffic.

This agreement foresees cooperation and coordination of each institution for an all inclusive treatment of the traffic phenomenon, starting from the identification of the cases, the penal punishment and the rehabilitation of the traffic victims.

The Deputy Interior Minister, Avenir Peka, valued this agreement and underlined his expectancies.

“By clearly establishing the role of the parties and the coordinating mechanisms, this agreement aims to improve and reinforce not only war against traffics, but also the partnership between both parties of this agreement”, Deputy Minister Peka declared.

The General Prosecutor, Ina Rama, declared that the human traffic has not the same capacity as it did years ago, thanks to the special structures of the institution she leads.
