Wage increased for Tirana’s Mayor, Basha,

The government has taken another decision today that increases the
budget cost for wages. The government increased the wage of Mayors and
established minimal and maximal limits.
On top of the list is the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha, with 174.000 ALL. The vice mayor’s wage could reach 140.000.
The wage increase for other Mayors depended on the population. Mayors of cities with more than 100.000 residents are paid with 116.000 ALL, while mayors of small cities with 5000 residents are paid with 55.000 ALL.
Although the government meeting was taken this August, the increase will be calculated since July 15th.
