While there are reports that Albania wouldn’t welcome Telekom Serbia as the company purchasing Telekom Albania, the Serbian President, Alexandar Vucic, said that he would talk to Rama about this.
Vucic made this declaration in a meeting with the NATO General Secretary, Jens Stoltenberg.
The Serbian Telekom confirmed their interest to buy Telekom Albania, which is owned by Deutsche Telekom. But their representatives were told by the Albanian Ministry of Communication, during their visit in Albania, that such purchase would not be welcome.
According to Vucic, Albania could be giving a wrong message by refusing this.
