Volunteers clean Antigonea

The archeological park of Antigonea has been supported recently by a
group of volunteers from schools who are helping in the rehabilitation
of the territory by vegetation that damages the monuments.
The volunteers will keep cleaning the territory and eliminating the bad vegetation, while a group of architects and restorers offer their expertise for finding new tourist paths and improving the park’s infrastructure.
The park director says that this is the first year in which the staff is having so much support and expects environmental interventions that will improve the 50 ha park and the functionality of its spaces.
