The Committee of Civilian Emergencies reported that the risk from rain precipitation has dropped. According to the Committee, the main danger comes from Vjosa, in Vlora and Fier.
“Our forces on terrain have worked during the entire night, evacuating citizens from endangered areas, although in some cases there has been resistance from citizens. We have realized some successful operations during the night. Vjosa has broken the embankment near the Mifoli bridge and has entered into the villages Fitore, Bishan, Ferras, Poro and Frakull. There has been water in 300 residences in this area, and 1310 hectares have been flooded. 710 troops and 152 vehicles were engaged”, the report says.
As for the electricity, the Committee of Civilian Emergency coordination say that the OSHEE has repaired problems and they are currently working to stabilize the situation in Zemblak, Maliq, Radhim and Memaliaj. There are 45,000 citizens without energy.
