Visionary people are those who dream wonderful visions for the world and articulate them through great inspirations.
Maybe the biggest of them is Leonardo Da Vinci, a painter, sculptor, architect, scientist, mathematician, engineer, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer… in a few words, a genius. His help in the progress of humanity is priceless.
Another genius was Gutenberg, whose printing house made a revolution in the world of book production. The modern world is electrified, after an exceptional invention of Thomas Edison. A visionary cannot leave without thinking what he will leave to the others, and the theory of relativity is the most precious gift that Albert Einstein left to humanity. A visionary is one step ahead the others and this is what Henry Ford understood in 1908, who sophisticated the car production for reducing the price, reaching 15 million sales in 1927.
In the southern USA of the ‘60s, in the peak of racism, Luther King prayed peace instead of war, with the famous speech “I have a dream”, in 1963, changing the history of the USA. Can you imagine a world without the magic, optimism and fantasy of Walt Disney, a pioneer in animation, innovator of the entertainment world?
Albania has also had its geniuses. One of them is Dritan Hoxha, a passionate of technology and a manager with rare abilities. He founded what has been called the media empire “Top Media”, ranking Albania among the first countries with a digital “High Definition” platform, such as “Digitalb”. He didn’t want to just become richer, but he wanted to be unique in his kind, like an Albanian version of Steve Jobs.
