13.000 persons are affected each week by viral flu in Albania. 40% of
them are children, and some of them have even had complications.
The Pediatric doctor, Xhemal Peposhi, says that the first signs in children are sore throat, temperature, respiratory problems and diarrhea.
“Most of the cases have come with breathing problems, most of which need examinations at the radiology”, Peposhi declared.
Doctors say that some of the children have had complications, hence the parents should check them regularly.
“The environment should have clean air. Children should try to keep their children at home and avoid kindergartens, until the epidemic phase is gone”, Peposhi declared.
The parents should be careful with the symptoms of the viral flu of their children, since 14 of the children have been hospitalized, according to Peposhi.
