Violence among teens

The psychological and physical violence is a phenomenon that exists in all schools. Psychologists think that the family is the most important structure for the violence of teenagers in school.

Parents have always less time to take care of their children. The lack of attention and the education model is directly reflected to their society and school.

“The violent behavior elements are more visible at children that have had minimal parental care. This is the right moment to tell the parents that it’s not enough to provide food and clothes to their children. They must take care of their mind and emotions. This cannot be achieved when the children are grown up or when the children have problems. The older ones can even go to violence, showing that they are still looking for their identity”, the psychologists say.

The economic problems and the long hours at work have made parents to spend less time with their children, who try to fill this void by completing their material needs.

“Since the school is the reflection of the community, that form of violence varies according to the areas. We have some areas with more physical violence, while the psychological violence is more present in other areas. The increase of communication and empathy between all elements, teachers, psychologists and students, will affect the decrease of violence. It can be used in simpler forms, such as in the education hours and the breaks between classes”, the psychologists say.

Experts think that children secondary should study in separate buildings from elementary schools, because the management of teens is more difficult.
