Vergine Oil scandal, Prosecution’s pretences

The Prosecution presented their request against the defendants of the Vergine Oil Scandal.

For this issue, the Prosecution claims that the defendants have
defrauded with the Vergine Oil, which they had declared as exported for
processing, while this product was sold in the Albanian gas stations.

Based
on the investigations, the Prosecution asked four years to prison for
Iliaz Fisheku, on fraud charges, 1.6 years to prison and 500.000 ALL
fine for Arjan Doci; two years and 500.000 ALL for Edmond Ferraj,
charged of falsifying documents.

While for the other defendants,
among whom there are drivers and workers of the implicated firms, the
Prosecution asked 6 months to prison for not reporting a crime. The
trial against the Euroil owner, Hajri Elezaj, was separated in another
file, since there is an international arrest order for him.
