The Tirana Municipality started working this Friday for the building of a
new marketplace for meat and fish, which is part of a big project for
requalifying the market at the “Avni Rustemi” square.
The Mayor of Tirana and the Chairman of the American-Albanian Development Fund, Michael Granoff, inspected the work progress at the entire project and expressed their conviction that it will be completed within the deadlines.
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that the work will continue by curing all the details and transform the Pazari I Ri in one of the most important areas of Tirana.
Veliaj added that the area will turn into a tourist attraction and the property value will increase with 35%.
