Veliaj: “Major tree-planting operation on March 21st, World Forestry Day”

On March 21st, the World Forestry Day, there will be a great action of planting trees in Tirana, according to Mayor Erion Veliaj.

200 new trees were planted today near the Sauk region, while the Mayor appeals private companies, state institutions, schools and citizens to be involved in the tree planting process and organize a major action on March 21^st.

Also on January 17^th, the 550 death anniversary of Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg, on San Valentine, on Teacher’s and Mother’s day in March, they will keep planting new trees in Tirana.
