The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inaugurated the reconstruction of Kindergarten 18 at the Mihal Grameno area.
“Kindergarten 18 is especially important to me because that is the one I attended when I was young.
I am happy that it is not only repaired but now there is more room. This means that now it can host 300 children, from 150 that it used to before.”
The Mayor announced that thanks to investments, public kindergartens offer better conditions, increasing this way the number of parents choosing public kindergartens over private ones.
Veliaj thanked donators for their contribution in improving the infrastructure, such as the Turkish Embassy and TIKA, praising them for helping the communities with concrete operations, not just seminars and conferences.
