The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that the Council of Europe will be in Albania to observe the elections.
The Socialist candidate for Albania’s capital and the biggest city said that there will be 900 observers in total.
“Now that they are totally finished, Berisha and Basha are fighting with the Mayors, who will be thrown in the streets after three days. Their people are not obeying to them, because they know they will end up in prison if they violate the elections, and they will never be able to leave Albania in the future. Now that they are touching the bottom, they threw another lie. Lulzim Basha said that there will be no foreign observers”, Veliaj said.
“The recent report of the Central Election Commission showed that there are 30 foreign organizations and 900 observers in total who will observe the elections in Albania. And from tomorrow they will be more than 1000”, Veliaj said.
