Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future The house of a teacher in Derven, Fushe-Kruje, was attacked by unidentified persons with dynamite.
The explosive was placed at the front gate, and fortunately no one was hurt in the house that at the moment had three minors inside.
In the meantime, the Fushe-Kruje cemeteries have become prey of scrap metal thieves. 50 graves have been damaged during the first night of the year. The thieves have taken the bronze vases and decorations.
They haven’t spared even the iron railings surrounding the graves. While police has started the investigations, relatives of the buried persons demand more protection for the graves of their family members, while condemning this ugly act.
A few times ago, some young people from Fushe Kruja were arrested for stealing different objects on graves.
