USAUID supports seven NGOs for empowering women

The United States Embassy has granted funds through USAID for empowering
the economic development of women in Albania. A 3-year-old project of
USAID and “Assist Impact” aims supporting local NGOs, government
agencies and all community groups for improving their abilities and for
an effective work.

Seven NGOs have been selected from a competing process for supporting the economic empowering of women, especially for the marginalized ones.

In the meeting for distributing these grants was also present the United States Ambassador to Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, who underlined that no country can progress if half of the population will not have support. We are seeing everywhere that investments on women and girls are leading to prosperity.
