Albanian weightlifter Briken Calja had some health problems during the World Championship in the USA, and lost his senses.
The Albanian sportsman stayed for several hours in hospital, and his situation is normalized.
The weightlifter said for Top Channel that he had stomach aches after eating some food before the race. The pain kept growing until I lost senses. I don’t remember anything after the 180 KG race”, the weightlifter said.
“Being fourth in the world is not a bad result. Our country is just a small nation in the map and we are fourth in the entire world, considering our conditions. However, I am angry that I lost a golden and a silver medal”, Calja said.
