The government of Kosovo sees the visit of the US State Secretary in
Albania as a good opportunity for Albanians in the entire region.
Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, said for Top Channel that the
visit of the US Secretary will deepen the cooperation between the US and
Albanian governments.
“I see this visit as very important for Albania and the entire region. It shows the attention of the USA for the economic and democratic development in the region for our Euro-Atlantic integration. It also deepens the friendship between the US and our countries. Kosovo is always very grateful for what the US people have done for us. We need to deepen this cooperation. We are happy with the results reached so far, with the US private sector’s commitment in the Kosovo market, and we expect more investments. I value the support of the US in the region, and Kerry’s visit will deepen the cooperation of the US with Albania and Kosovo too”, Mustafa said.
Mustafa said that Kerry’s message for Kosovo was given when he visited their country, and the political situation has not changed since. The powerful message remains still actual, Mustafa said, and added that Albania should keep cultivating the relations with the USA, as the most powerful ally of the Albanian people in the world.
