US Ambassador visits Mayor of Tirana

The US Ambassador in Tirana, Alexander Arvizu, held a meeting with the Mayor of Tirana, Lulzim Basha.
The meeting was held around 10:00 and lasted only 30 minutes behind closed doors. Sources from the Tirana Municipality declared that the purpose of the meeting was the introduction of the new vice Ambassador of America, who was just appointed.
After the meeting, Arvizu was asked by the journalists regarding the removal of the Secret Service Director, Bahri Shaqiri, but he only declared “Not today”.
Sources from the US Embassy declared that they were surprised by the President’s decision, especially for its time and reasons.
