US Ambassador Arvizu meets President Topi

One day after he appeared together with Ina Rama, while she announced
the arrest of important state figures, Alexander Arvizu met the Albanian
President, Bamir Topi.
According to the Presidency, the President exchanged thoughts with the President about the current political matters, on which the recent debates are focused.
The Presidency notifies that in this meeting were mentioned the independence, the well-functioning of the independent constitutional institutions, the justice reforms, the necessary laws that require qualified majority in Parliament, the approval of the Administrative Court, the political challenges and those of integration, which will be faced during 2012, and the political situation in Balkan.
The head of the state reiterated his position by saying that he will continue to appeal the political class for these messages and that he will continue to be President until the last day of his mandate.
