Unwanted minors in Greece

Dozens of persons have been unable to enter Greece with their babies who
were born in Greece, just because the new biometric passports have the
name of the birthplace city and “Greece” in Albanian letters.
Dozens of families have been obliged to return from the border when their children born in Greece are not allowed to cross the border. There are two cases in Berat that testify for the incident in Kakavija.
The returned are two children, six and one years old. Their parents appeal the Albanian authorities to resolve these problems during their visits in Greece, since families are being separated and they risk to lose everything built so far in Greece.
