It’s not the first time this year that the Police Union raises once
again the concern of the special police payment. For the first time they
reported that the Interpol Tirana agents have not received per diem
payments for more than 6 months.
“The special police have not been paid for extra work since December 2011. The state owes to every agent from 200.000 to 500.000 ALL”, declared SAdetin Fishta, Chairman of the Police Union.
Fishta declared that the authorities are indifferent and that the only remaining hope is the court. “We addressed to the courts, the Constitutional and the Tirana one. One for the per diem and the other for the debt that the state has accumulated during this time”, Fishta added.
The head of the Police Union declared that the Interior Ministry is discriminating the Police, even by publishing the photos of the police officer that was arrested in the Rinas Airport, an action that falls against the Constitution. They asked the Interior Inspection Service to be more careful in guarding the personal data of the police.
