Unification of school program

“The students of Kosovo are free to be students of the Albanian schools and vice-versa. Students will be able to be part of the European Union schools, because the unified curricula is the official one used by the European Union”, declared the Albanian Minister of Education, Lindita Nikolla.

“There is no more significant agreement for our nation. It doesn’t matter who took more from whom. The most important thing is that we are together”, declared the Kosovo Minister of Education, Rame Buja.

“The steps towards this unification are not a move towards mechanical unification of borders, but a joint walk towards what we want to have tomorrow for the new generation of Albanians”, Prime Minister Edi Rama declared.

Rama added that this historic agreement will make progresses with the Albanian language too.

“The work for unification will help not allowing the Albanian language suffer even more, and so that it can take its importance in the education system”, Rama underlined.

An agreement will Google will be signed in the days to come, which will enable the usage of technological infrastructure for the Albanian schools.

Kosovo Minister: Our education system is European

But why did Albania chose the Kosovo education system? What will be its effect in the system of Albania, and will Kosovo and Albania use one single text? The Kosovo Minister of Education, Rame Buja, declared that this is an European system and it has resulted successful for them.

“Our children will learn with the same books, and this will make us be closer together. Our model is 5+4+3. Albania had a different one, comparing it with other models. This model makes it possible for children to be more competent in the subjects they see themselves better. With the unification we will be able to realize professional text books”, Buja declared.
