One of the tourist areas that offer a wonderful scenery and which is not
known very much, is the Rrjoll village in Velipoja, Shkoder. This area
is one of the pearls of our country, and each year it is getting more
visitors.
Being in the middle of a lagoon, a mountain and the sea, Rrjoll offers a rare natural beauty. This area had no road, and this made it impossible for tourists to reach it, but with the recent construction things seem to have changed.
Rrjoll is seen by beach goers as a newly discovered area, completely unexplored and undamaged by construction and concrete.
However, some irresponsible people have started ruining the old Muslim cemetery with ottoman scriptures just to open construction sites. These are the stones of century-old cemeteries that had been preserved so well by isolation.
