UN Security Council meets to discuss Kosovo
10/06/2019 17:59
The UN Security Council is holding today the second (out of three for this year) informing meeting for Kosovo.
The Special Envoy of the UN General Secretary and leader of UNMIK, Zahir Tan, will inform the council about the recent developments and about the report of the General Secretariat.
In the previous meeting held in February, the Council expressed its concern about the lack of dialogue and increased tension between Prishtina and Belgrade.
The EU has been the main intermediator for the dialogue, and the agreement of 2013 was reached thanks to them.
There has been progressing in some sectors, but the agreement has not been implemented as regards some main points.
