Two workers die in Diber

Two hydropower plant workers died today in an accident in Selishta,
Diber. The tragedy took place this morning, when the workers were
opening a tunnel.
The victims were identified as Nazmi Hida, 40 year old, and Qamil Shehu, 50 year old. They were working for the construction of a hydropower plant in Diber.
According to the witnesses, the workers were opening the tunnel when some poisonous gases have erupted and asphyxiated them.
Regardless the attempts of their colleagues for giving the first aid, the workers have passed away in a matter of minutes.
Their bodies were sent to the morgue, while the police is investigating the accident.
