Two miners die in Bulqize

A tragic accident has taken place in Zone e Re, Martanesh, where two miners have lost their lives while working.
The initial reports were for one dead and one injured, but the recent police information confirm for two victims, Elmaz Elezi, 26. and Vehbi Stafa, 55. Elezi was unable to survive to the injuries caused by a landslide, while Stafa died on the spot.
The two victims are added to the list of miners that have died in Bulqize due to the difficult conditions and the lack of all security measures.
The exploitation of these mines has turned into a harsh political debate in Parliament while the activity on terrain, besides the licensed and unlicensed companies, is led by individuals and family members who try to make a living.
