Two councillors of the Korca Municipality have left the Socialist Movement for Integration and joined the Socialist Party.
Marilena Dervishi and Shkelqim Larti announced their decision through a public declaration.
“I am here to share a decision that I and my SMI collaborators have discussed several times. I was among the first ones to join this force in Korca, since its creation, with the responsibility of a military who wants to contribute for the community and for my country. Today I find myself in front of two options: keep supporting this transformation or obey to the political orders of the SMI, which are not suitable especially here in Korca”, Larti declared.
Now the SP has 23 mandates in Korca, SMI 6 and DP 12.
