Two killed in car crash

Police declared that a vehicle crashed against a Macedonian heavy truck. One of the people inside the car died on the spot, while the other passed away at the Librazhd hospital. The two others who were wounded are in severe conditions, one in life threatening danger.

Preliminary data suggest that the causes of the accident were excessive speed and humidity. Police has taken under custody the Macedonian driver, Peco Stojanovski, who will be interrogated about the circumstances. The wounded will be sent to the military hospital.

This is the first accident with tragic consequences for 2013 in Elbasan. Last year this road had 109 accidents with 29 fatal victims.
