Two Hospital doctors arrested

One doctor and one nurse have been arrested by the Tirana Police,
charged of corruption. According to the Tirana Police information, the
Cardiology Hospital Doctor Silvana Menaj, 48, and lab nurse Dhurata
Trako, 46, were arrested after receiving 2000 ALL for hospitalization of
patients.

The doctor did not register the patients, and in cooperation with her colleague, they received the money that should enter the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center.

Police declared that the two defendants had been under surveillance for two months. The investigation started after a report made at the Economic-Financial crime at the Tirana Police.
