The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, received the Interior Minister of Turkey, Suleyman Soylu, in an official visit in Tirana.
The meeting was held behind closed doors, but, according to the Turkish media “Anadolu Agency”, the discussion was about the Gulen Movement in Albania, which has been listed as a terrorist group by Turkey.
Officials in Istanbul have already asked the Albanian authorities to extradite the members of the Gulen Movement.
The Interior Minister, Sander Lleshaj, also received his Turkish counterpart and appreciated the excellent relations between both countries.
Minister Soylu thanked Lleshaj for the warm reception and said that Albania is considered as a very friendly country, with excellent historic relations.
