In an effort calm down the voices against the Turkish tour guide and
journalist who insulted the figure of Skanderbeg, the National Hero of
Albania,, he explains on Facebook that Skanderbeg has been used by
Europeans to damage the friendship between Albanians and Ottomans.

“Skanderbeg was an Albanian like many others who joined the Ottoman Empire. Skanderbeg went against the empire for 25 years, with huge support from Europeans”, he says, adding that the Albanain-Turkish friendship was not destroyed by Skanderbeg, but was repaired by Albanian heroes such as Sami Frasheri, Mehmet Akif and many others who have also led Turks, and for whom Turkey is proud, according to him.

Although he apologized to the people of Albania, who have petitioned for him to be banned our country, he still removed comments quoting his exact phrases from the video.

Meanewhile, a memorial of the Turkish General, Hasan Riza Pasha, placed in the downtown of Shkoder, has been damaged with the Turkish flag being completely ripped off and some parts of it broken.
