The Turkish Ambassador in Tirana declared today that Albania should vote in favor of the Vlora Airport, underlining that Turkey is the biggest investor in Albania, with a total of 2.7 billion USD of investments.
“The consortium that is building the biggest airport in the world, the one in Istanbul, has made a bid to the Albanian government for building the newest airport in Vlora, a city that we are very fond of. It is up to our Albanian brothers and the public opinion to make the evaluation. I will do everything possible for the trade relations between both countries to get even higher. Turkish investments in Albania have reached 2.7 billion USD. We are the second investors in the country. We are convinced that the hand that gives support is more powerful than the tongue that criticizes”, said Murat Ahmet Yoruk, the Turkish ambassador to Albania.
