The Greek Prime Minister, Aleksis Tsipras, warned that there would be new developments with Albania regarding the maritime border agreement.
After closing the agreement with Skopje, about Macedonia’s name, Athens received congratulations from the international community. Tsipras has decided to close the suspended matters with Albania as well.
The Greek Foreign Minister made it clear that his department will not go for holidays these months. This is due to the fact that there is another meeting expected, between Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Greek counterpart, Tsipras.
Both leaders have agreed during this February to continue the negotiations and conclude the suspended matters.
