Top Channel has visited a voting center in Tropoja, where voters are exerting their rights despite the difficult conditions in the old building, a former post office.
The candidates have identified a series of problems that Tropoja needs to resolve, starting from the water system, unemployment and a better usage of natural resources.
But what is special about this area, the Margegaj Commune, is that the three candidates used to be members of the DP, but this time, one of them is running for the Socialist Movement for Integration, after being unhappy with the internal elections of the DP. He has served in this commune with the DP for four terms.
Agron Demushi, Mayor of Bajram Curri, also unhappy with the internal issues of the DP, is running as an independent candidate for another term.
