The Inspector of “Albcontrol”, Erjon Pipero, testified for the trial of
Giorgio Riformato, the pilot of the airplane that fell in Divjaka.
Pipero declared that he contacted with Riformato when he was losing altitude.
“Riformato said he was trying the airplane in a lower altitude. Albcontrol gives no permit for airplanes. Riformato’s plan was to leave Albania’s airspace”, Pipero declared.
