Tree planting season. Tirana Mayor appeals businesses: “Donate two trees for every owned car”

The season for planting trees has started. Tirana Municipality workers are planting new trees on the main roads of Albania’s capital.

Trees wee initially planted at the former Block area, which has a high population density and gets very frequented by youth.

Workers also planted trees at Tirana’s Outer Ring Road area, while Mayor Veliaj invites businesses to join them by donating two trees for every vehicle they own.
