Treatment of injured students continue, one in coma

The Military Hospital doctors where 14 of the injured girls are being
treated, declared that some of them keep being in serious conditions.

Dr. Rasin Madani declared that two of the three girls that were into coma have come out, while the other girl that underwent a difficult operation today is still unconscious.

After the homages in honor of the Alexander Xhuvani University victims in Elbasan, Prime Minister Berisha arrived at the Tirana Military Hospital and was updated with the situation of the students that remained injured from the Himara accident.

The Prime Minister declared that the situation in general was good, but two of them are facing great difficulties. For a more specialized medical help, Berisha added that they have contacted with the best private clinics and the injured girls will be transported as soo as they will give the green light.

Berisha declared that the emergency situation was faced successfully and he thanked the doctors, the army, the pilots and the Himara residents for the solidarity that they have showed in the tragedy.

 Earlier during the day, Dr. Fatos Olldashi declared for Top Channel that patient Florije Peci underwent a surgical intervention and due to her head damages, she will be under observation.

According to him, the situation of the other eight patients is stable and they are being kept under constant care by the doctors.
