Training of public administration

The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and the Albanian Minister of
Integration, Klajda Gjosha, followed the first training session in some
public administration institutions which have direct contact with
businesses and citizens.

The first ones to have the training were the directors of the General Tax Directory, the General Customs Directory, the National Food Agency, the Gambling Supervision Unit, the Central Technical Inspectorate and the Rural and Agricultura Development Agency.

Rama considered constant qualification an added value and underlined his trust in this process by saying:

“You are the leaders of that part of the government which makes direct contact with businesses. Unfortunately, this part of the government, due to the traditional system that has been built and not because of any of the individuals, has a wrong approach to businesses. We want to change this at any cost. The government cannot create welfare in a system like this. The welfare is created by businesses, first of all. The government doesn’t open jobs, business does. The government doesn’t grow revenues, business does. If the entire administration doesn’t work as a team, there will be no success”, Rama declared.

The entire public administration is undergoing a training process to increase performance. The public administration training will be constant, in order to face the challenges in our country’s full integration path.
