Tragic accidents in Ioannina

Six people have died in two fatal accidents in Ioannina, four of whom
are Albanians. The first accident took place at the Ioannina-Arta road,
where a truck driven by an Albanian driver crashed with a vehicle driven
by a Greek citizen.
The drivers of both vehicles died immediately, together with an 11 year old Albanian girl that was traveling in the truck. Sources from the police say that the cause of the accident was a wrong overtake of the Greek citizen. Four other people were sent to hospital in serious conditions, who were involved in the accident.
The second accident took place at the Ioannina-Kosana road, near the Lapsista village. Three people have died on the spot. According to the police, the victims are the drivers of one of the vehicles, a 23-year-old Greek citizen, and a 49-year-ol Albanian woman with a 2-year-old child at the other vehicle.
The identities of the victims remain unknown. Police has started the investigations for the causes of the accidents.
